Hi everyone! My name is Carla Pagniello (D.O.M.P., B.Ed, B.P.H.E., PTS). I am a registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Personal Trainer, and Educator. I am the founder and owner of Osteopathy by Carla and Inspiration Fitness.

I began my love for health and fitness at a very young age. During my youth and early adulthood, I was a highly competitive athlete. Unfortunately, I suffered injuries. Sadly, one in particular ended my athletic career and left me devastated. Furthermore, I was experiencing health problems. Despite what logic told me, I always BELIEVED my injuries and health issues would not define my physical and health abilities. After months of seeking help, I was frustrated and disappointed with traditional medical and healthcare systems. Instead, I sought natural forms of healing (Osteopathy, Naturopathy, and Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine). These methods were my saving grace. I began to truly believe in natural medicine.

Through my own experiences, I learned the power the human body holds. I witnessed its capacity to heal when listened to. Its amazing ability to shift when properly cared for. I am inspired to share what I have learned. I want to empower and further educate my clients to take active roles in their own health and healing. I am honoured to witness my clients becoming the best version of themselves.

Sports Therapist

My practice is diverse with patients from all walks and stages of life (pediatric, pre/post-natal mothers, children of all ages, adults, elderly, etc.).  My experiences and education give me the confidence to treat any patient who walks through my door. My clinical focus is women’s and children’s health. Gynecological and digestive issues are my specialties.

In addition, with my exercise training background, I am passionate about teaching my clients rehabilitative and corrective exercises. This is another way I live out my purpose. I help clients begin and maintain healthy lifestyle habits to positively impact their long term wellness.

I am dedicated to being a lifelong student. I am committed to continued professional development. I have completed specialized courses to enhance my treatment outcomes: The Upledger Institute (Craniosacral Therapy) and The Barral Institute (Visceral Manipulation). I am also a student of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and am working towards that designation. I continue to shadow my mentors and teachers to further my understanding of unique client cases.

I spend my spare time doing anything active and outdoors (hiking, mountain biking, stand-up paddle boarding ‘SUPing’). I am a traveller. I love exploring the world. I am also an animal lover and pet owner. I enjoy cooking healthy and nutritious food.
